01 / The brief

The scene
sets the story.

Rather than a conventional specification sheet, the Clutch & Color opening edition follows what the camera encountered: the open shutter, the Acura inside, light across the bodywork, collectors and the street outside.

The first ten pages establish the magazine's black-and-white treatment and compact, numbered typography. Later street photographs introduce color; each page retains its own title, number, and editorial hierarchy.

The publication identity remains Clutch & Color. F Mount Studios is credited for photography and design; the venue is Leen Customs (The Original Pin Garage), 619 S. Anderson St., Los Angeles.

03 / The sequence

From garage
to street.

The editorial experience follows one continuous set: No. 001–010 inside the garage; No. 011–026 expanding to the street and people; No. 027–037 in full color, followed by the No. 038 Cruising film.

The No. 010 collector-pin photographs were taken on iPhone and retain their distinct credit. Vehicle, venue, and maker attributions remain attached to their original cards rather than being rewritten as unverified commercial claims.

On this site, the pages are shown at web resolution; original RAW files, client submissions and other unpublished assets are not included.
